Working in Taylor Wimpey Manufacturing, the Planning & Production Administrator supports the Planning, Production and Design functions in relation to core administration activities and backfill support for other personnel during holidays. This role is working 8am-4pm, Monday to Friday.
Primary Responsibilities
- Planning – creating picking tickets and delivery notes/information in HSB, completing picking tickets in Sage, and providing backfill for Planning Schedulers during periods of absence.
- Design – administering CDP information/version control folders, managing upload/download in DocHosting, and tracking Production/Sti NCR status with follow‑up on action owners.
- Production – maintaining training records, publishing the daily attendance register for FTE/agency operatives, preparing all drawing/design instructions for release to factory, and providing backfill for the Productivity Coordinator during periods of absence.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- Experience in administration or similar roles.
- Strong understanding of a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and strong numeracy.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively with excellent organisational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience in a design or timber‑frame environment.
