Job Summary
Guided by WMS functionality, complete warehouse perpetual inventory (PI) checks in line with agreed plan, to drive inventory accuracy to 98.5% or greater. Proactively complete timely route cause analysis to identify System and Process improvements that continually improve warehouse inventory accuracy. Work collaboratively with other warehouse functions to enhance overall warehouse efficiency and maintain the highest standards of operational fulfilment performance.
Primary Responsibilities
- Own completion of PI checks in line with agreed plan.
- Meet or exceed warehouse inventory target of 98.5%.
- Support completion of annual physical stock checks in line with agreed protocols.
- Timely completion of any necessary System transactions to ensure physical stock matches system stock inventories.
- Investigate and report on any items in QC hold.
- Timely communication of stock write-offs to Stock Manager + Finance Manager.
- Take ownership for the processing and management of all Warehouse returns. Ensure the KPI of fewer than 50 pallets of Returns held on site at any one time is consistently met, along with returns are processed and put away within 1 week of receipt + correctly updated on the System.
- Maintain strict compliance with health and safety standards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate effectively with other warehouse functions and departments to achieve business Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and enhance overall warehouse efficiency.
- Consistently apply "clean as you go" standards to maintain a tidy and organised workspace, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Perform other reasonable duties as required to support the overall objectives of the warehouse operations, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- Experience of working within a warehouse environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Experience in the use of basic Microsoft packages (Excel, Word etc).
- Previous experience of Warehouse Management Systems.
