Our dedicated strategic land team focus on acquiring large areas of land with excellent potential for significant development. This programme promises a comprehensive overview of our strategic land operations, coupled with insights into various other departments. This holistic approach is designed to cultivate a thorough understanding of our business framework and the pivotal role of strategic land as a valuable asset.
As a participant in this comprehensive program, you will have the opportunity torotate across various Business Units (BUs)within your division. This rotation is designed to maximize your exposure to a diverse array of projects, enhancing your understanding of our operations and strategic objectives.
In addition to the inter-divisional rotations, you will also spend time within ourGroup Central Function. This segment of the program allows you to collaborate closely withsenior team members, gaining invaluable insights and mentorship from experienced professionals.
Furthermore, you will be enrolled in ourtailored development scheme. This scheme is not just about honing your skills in your chosen field of expertise; it’s about fosteringholistic professional growth. You’ll engage in activities that develop your leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities, ensuring you emerge as a well-rounded professional equipped to tackle the challenges of your role.
This multifaceted approach ensures that by the end of the program, you will have a robust understanding of our company’s inner workings and be well-prepared to contribute significantly to the success of Taylor Wimpey.
What you will have:
- 2:1 degree or above in a RICS or RTPI accredited course in planning or surveying (Required)
- Full driving license and access to a car (Required)
- Willingness to travel around the UK and are happy to stay away from home for short periods of time
- Ability to find innovative and creative solutions to solve problems
- Willingness to challenge the norm
