Job Summary
- A key role within Taylor Wimpey London with operational oversight of the London medium to high-rise projects.
- Accountable for the operational responsibilities of the Building Safety Act from land appraisal, pre-development, development etc
- Responsible for ensuring the ‘Golden Thread’ is maintained at all times and all documentation is appropriately stored and managed.
- Ensure Managing agents meet the KPI’s and the business units expected performance. Assist Estate & Manco Manager in carrying out re-tendering of schemes if required.
- Assist Estate & Manco Manager in overall management of agents and their performance
Primary Responsibilities
- Management of all managing agents in matters relating to building safety act. Ensure any other operational issues with agents or internally are raised to Estate & Manco Manger
- BSA checklist compliance-Ensure due diligence on behalf of the RMC at all times
- Placing and maintaining appropriate time lines for agents managing any known risks and taking appropriate action should these not be met.
- Ensure all information is prepared for handover from Tayloy Wimpey RMC Directors to Residents taking over RMC
- Liaison with all directors of Mancos and internal departments where required.
- Reviewing BSA costs to the service charge budgets and ensuring these are ‘fair and reasonable’
- Keeping up to date on all emerging legislation, case law, regular communications to the whole BU.

Experience, Qualifications, Technical Requirements
- Senior management experience in building safety and managing agents
- Experience of working on complex mixed tenure schemes
- Proven track record in performing against set delivery objectives
- AIRPM or above, NEBOSH and/or IOSH qualifications
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Proven experience in working with external main contractors
- Strong understanding of Landlord & Tenant Legislation, Building Safety Act, Fire safety Order and other relevant statutory compliance
