Primary Responsibilities
The programme includes a 2‑year development course, Level 4 National Vocation Qualification, and role‑related training. It also offers masterclasses, insight days, and quarterly reviews.
Trainee Assistant Site Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Managing sub‑contractors and suppliers: assist with weekly planning, shadow experienced staff, resolve conflicts, coordinate deliveries, maintain diary, enforce waste procedures.
- Health and Safety: attend training, assist with statutory forms, shadow inspections, review safe systems, method statements, risk assessments.
- Sales: observe customer interactions, coordinate with departments and subcontractors on options.
- Site Inspection: assist in planning inspections, accompany team, learn standards.
- Customer Care: assist in Home Quality Inspections, ensure defect‑free properties, resolve concerns, manage quality control.
- Site Presentation: learn and apply company rules.
Experience, Qualifications & Technical Requirements
- Construction‑related qualification, relevant site experience or a 2:2 Degree in a Built Environment.
- Driving licence or ability to reach remote sites independently.
- Willingness to travel within business unit area.
- Full indefinite UK working rights.
