Key Responsibilities
You’ll gain experience across a range of engineering and development areas:
Health, Safety & Environment
- Identify and help mitigate risks in design
- Support safe and sustainable development practices
- Assist with CDM/EMS processes
Planning & Community Engagement
- Help with submissions to water, highway and planning authorities
- Support community-focused planning and infrastructure
- Coordinate with external consultants and manage design documentation
Pre-Development & Technical Design
- Assist in interpreting surveys and technical reports
- Support the preparation of working drawings for tenders and approvals
- Help secure statutory approvals and manage consultant teams
On-Site & Development Support
- Visit sites and help resolve design or engineering issues
- Prepare and maintain documentation for adoption, tracking, and NHBC requirements
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain engineering quality
Job requirements
- 2:2 degree in civil engineering
- Driving licence and access to a car
- Willingness to travel between sites
- You must have a Full Right to Work in the UK and not be in any full-time education
