Position summary

At Winston Taylor, we're in the room when the stakes are highest.

As a Senior Business Acceptance Analyst, you'll be at the centre of critical business decisions, clearing the path for new client and matter onboarding while protecting the firm from financial crime, regulatory, reputational and conflict risks.

Working closely with partners and business services teams, you'll cut through complexity, solve problems at pace and drive decisions that keep the business moving.

  • Position responsibilities
  • Drive the firm's client and matter onboarding process, identifying and resolving AML, sanctions and reputational risks before they become barriers to business.
  • Own escalated business acceptance queries, making clear, risk-based decisions and providing practical guidance to partners and stakeholders across the firm.
  • Uncover, analyze and resolve conflicts issues, balancing regulatory requirements with commercial priorities and escalating complex matters where required.
  • Assess client and matter risk, create and maintain information barriers, and ensure the firm remains protected while enabling business growth.

Experience, skills, and qualifications

  • Proven experience managing client due diligence and AML processes within an international law firm or professional services environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SRA conflict and confidentiality requirements, with the confidence to make decisions and challenge where necessary.
  • Excellent analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to cut through complex information and deliver clear, actionable recommendations.
  • A track record of building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and driving issues through to resolution.
