This is an exciting opportunity to join our Talent Development team, where you will play a key role in enhancing digital capability, championing AI‐enabled learning, and creating engaging development experiences for colleagues across both legal and business services teams. Based in Liverpool, you will work collaboratively with stakeholders to design, deliver, and continuously improve learning solutions that support our strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Digital Induction: Deliver induction and ongoing digital skills training, including AI tools, ensuring seamless onboarding and digital upskilling.
  • Review, develop, and maintain engaging LMS content, ensuring resources are current, inclusive, and support colleague engagement.
  • Design relevant programmes to embed AI across our digital learning strategy, tailoring content for each practice area and aligning with strategic development goals.
  • Assess training effectiveness through data collection and stakeholder feedback, using insights to iterate programmes for maximum impact and continually seek opportunities for process enhancement.
  • Collaborate within the team to provide guidance and solutions to colleagues, communicating in an approachable and solution‐oriented manner.
  • Monitor industry trends in digital learning, especially AI, and recommend innovative approaches that position Taylor Wessing as a leader in Digital Learning within Talent Development.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Advanced knowledge and delivery of MS Office 365 packages.
  • Experience training in Windows applications.
  • Proven experience as a Digital Learning Specialist or IT Trainer.
  • Strong understanding of AI technologies (e.g., generative AI, prompt engineering) and their responsible application in workplace learning.
  • Familiarity with legal sector document management systems such as iManage for training purposes.
  • Experience developing technical training programmes and facilitating in‐person, online, and hybrid training sessions.
  • Confident communicator, able to present complex technology concepts clearly to varied audiences.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Skilled at collecting and analysing feedback to drive continuous improvement in digital learning delivery.
  • Evidence of awareness of digital learning trends, especially emerging AI approaches, and ability to contribute innovative ideas.

Desirable

  • Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline/Rise) and video creation/editing software (e.g., Adobe Captivate).
  • Experience using a Learning Management System such as SAP.
  • Experience using internet/intranet applications for training delivery or content management.
  • Formal qualifications in learning & development, digital education, or AI (e.g., CIPD/TAP/Microsoft Certified Trainer).
