The department

Our Residential Property department is our largest by headcount and has teams in each of our three office locations.

We have an opportunity for a Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/CILEx Practitioner with Conveyancing Practice Rights to join either our Harpenden, St Albans or Luton office working in Teams of Partners, Associates and other Solicitors.

About the role

  • The role is ideal for an ambitious qualfified Residential Property lawyer who:
  • has solid previous experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions.
  • is seeking to work autonomously within Department protocols managing a busy caseload with the support of a case management system, with access to lawyer colleague guidance.
  • demonstrates high standards of client service delivery.
  • has experience of establishing strong relationships with local estate agents, other referrers of work and internal connections.
  • has experience of networking and initiating business development activities.
  • Key Requirements
  • Pure Residential Property qualified experience - minimum 4years+ PQE.
  • Solid experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions.
  • Ability to efficiently manage a busy caseload.
  • Strong financial track record.
  • Proven strong academics.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Pays close attention to detail and demonstrates exacting standard of work.
  • Positive attitude to self-development and career progression.
