The department
Our Residential Property department is our largest by headcount and has teams in each of our three office locations. We have an opportunity for a Solicitor/Licensed Conveyancer/CILEx Practitioner with Conveyancing Practice Rights to join either our Harpenden, St Albans or Luton office working in Teams of Partners, Associates and other Solicitors. We attract a high volume of good quality work and are proud to have a dominant market position in property with a renowned reputation for delivering high quality work for our clients.
About the role
The role is ideal for an ambitious qualified Residential Property lawyer who:
- has solid previous experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions.
- is seeking to work autonomously within Department protocols managing a busy caseload with the support of a case management system, with access to lawyer colleague guidance.
- demonstrates high standards of client service delivery.
- has experience of establishing strong relationships with local estate agents, other referrers of work and internal connections.
- has experience of networking and initiating business development activities.
Key Requirements
- Pure Residential Property qualified experience – minimum 4 years+ PQE.
- Solid experience of freehold sale and purchase, and leasehold transactions.
- Ability to efficiently manage a busy caseload.
- Proven strong academics.
- Pays close attention to detail and demonstrates exacting standard of work.
- Positive attitude to self-development and career progression.
