Due to rapid business growth, we are excited to welcome a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Physiotherapist to join our friendly team of 5 vets, 7 nurses and 2 VCAs. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated physiotherapist who enjoys working with a high level of autonomy and wants to play an active role in patient care, client education, and service development within a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

We are looking for a confident and proactive Veterinary Physiotherapist to develop and lead our in-house physiotherapy and rehabilitation service. You will work closely with our vets and nurses in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, ensuring physiotherapy becomes an integral part of our patient care journey β€” from surgery and injury recovery to long-term mobility and chronic pain management. This role would suit someone who enjoys building services, shaping protocols, and making a real impact on patient wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Running physiotherapy and rehabilitation consultations and clinics (post-operative recovery, osteoarthritis, mobility and pain management)
  • Creating tailored rehabilitation and exercise programmes
  • Supporting patients pre- and post-operatively alongside the clinical team
  • Providing client education and home exercise guidance
  • Contributing to preventative healthcare and long-term wellbeing plans
  • Maintaining accurate and thorough clinical records
  • Helping develop physiotherapy protocols and clinical standards
  • Supporting team education and promoting rehabilitation within practice
  • Ensuring high standards of hygiene, safety, and animal welfare

We are looking for someone who is:

  • A qualified Veterinary Physiotherapist
  • Passionate about rehabilitation, mobility and pain management
  • A confident communicator who enjoys client education
  • Organised, proactive, and able to work independently

  • Motivated to grow and develop a service long-term
  • Committed to delivering excellent patient and client care
  • Experience in small animal practice is desirable, but enthusiasm and the right attitude are just as important.
