Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus up to £2,500 Relocation Allowance! Taylor Veterinary Practice has a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our large, friendly, and welcoming team of over 60 staff. Based in the southside of Glasgow, we are one of the oldest established veterinary practices in the world, having cared for animals in our community for almost two centuries.
Our experienced management team supports 17 vets and 14 RVNs, alongside a wonderful support team including ANAs, receptionists, an accounts manager, and insurance and pet health club administrators. Together, we deliver outstanding patient care across our busy main branch and three consulting-only branches. We’re excited to be nearing completion of a full refurbishment at our main Cathkin site, where we’ll soon be operating from a brand-new, fully modernised facility. A typical full-time role involves working 9am-7pm, with a balanced mix of consulting and surgical shifts. Our Saturday rota is 3 in 8, with time off during the week in lieu, and there is no out-of-hours requirement.

Our extensive services include laparoscopy, dental radiography, laser therapy, and ultrasonography (including input from a visiting peripatetic specialist), as well as access to a visiting behaviourist and a mobile CT scanner.
