We are looking for an experienced and reliable Trailer Technician to join our growing team covering Sheffield and a 30-mile radius across South Yorkshire. This is a mobile role, so no two days are the same. You’ll be working on a range of trailers, carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance and repairs both roadside and on customer sites.
The Role
- Diagnose and repair trailer faults efficiently
- Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
- Complete inspections and safety checks
- Respond to breakdowns and mobile call-outs
- Ensure all work is completed to high safety standards
- Maintain accurate job records and paperwork
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Trailer Technician or HGV/Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently in a mobile environment
- Full UK driving licence
- Good attitude and strong work ethic
- Welding/fabrication experience beneficial but not essential
