The Role
As a Sales Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for supporting existing customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
You'll manage enquiries, prepare quotations, source competitive pricing and ensure customers receive a first-class service throughout the sales process.
Working closely with suppliers and internal teams, you'll help maximise sales opportunities while maintaining excellent customer relationships and delivering commercial value.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update regional tender pipelines, live projects and CRM/account management systems, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries, preparing accurate and competitive quotations within agreed timescales.
- Proactively follow up quotations and live opportunities to maximise conversion rates.
- Achieve and exceed sales KPIs set by management.
- Develop new customer accounts while growing existing accounts to maximize revenue.
- Manage customer spend in line with agreed credit limits.
- Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and ensure commercial viability.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer movements to identify opportunities.
- Deliver tailored solutions by working closely with suppliers and internal teams.
- Complete all sales administration accurately and efficiently.
- Support the delivery of outstanding customer service, competitive pricing and best-value solutions.
About You
We're looking for someone who is commercially aware, customer-focused and enjoys working in a busy sales environment.
You’ll ideally have
- Previous experience in Sales, Internal Sales, Sales Support, Account Management or Customer Service.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines.
- A proactive and results-driven approach.
- Good commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
