Taylor Stevenson are acting as an employment business on behalf of our client in Rotherham. Our client is a UK leading sustainable fuel supplier, providing waste wood and biomass fuel. We are seeking ongoing HGV CLASS 1 / C+E DRIVERS to work on an ongoing basis either days or nights.

This job involves Walking Floor trailers, with no experience required as full training will be given. It is a temp to perm position for the right candidate.

Available shift patterns:

  • Days - Monday to Friday
  • Nights - Monday to Friday

Pay:

  • Days - £17.50ph
  • Nights - £18.50ph
  • Saturday - £21.00ph
  • Sunday - £22.00ph

JOB DUTIES:

  • Delivering biomass fuel to sites across the country
  • Collecting and delivering waste wood chippings to be turned into renewable energy
  • Driving a Class 1 walking floor/tipper (no prior experience needed as full training is provided)
  • Operating a manual sheet on your trailer
  • Ensuring vehicle is kept clean and tidy
  • Conduct regular vehicle checks
  • Must have good literacy skills to complete POD's and paperwork

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • HGV Class 1 licence (2 years minimum)
  • Valid Taco and CPC card
  • Full PPE (Hi vis, safety boots, hardhat etc)
