Taylor Stevenson are proud to be working with a industry leading client who manufacture who are looking for a HGV Mechanic to join their team! Their looking for a skilled HGV Mechanic to service and repair vehicles, trailers, and factory transport to the standard set by the company and external transport legislative bodies whilst ensuring health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Ensuring that high levels of productivity, attendance and customer satisfaction are maintained at all times. This is a full-time permanent position with a 48 hours working week on a rotating weekly shift basis being: Week 1 – 6AM – 4PM Monday to Thursday and 6AM – 2PM Friday! Week 2 – 12PM – 10PM Monday to Thursday and 12PM – 8PM Friday! Week 3 – 8AM -6PM Monday to Thursday and 8AM – 4PM Friday! Responsibilities- * To inspect, report, repair and service trailers, vehicles, and factory transport. * To inspect and conduct pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards. * General garage housekeeping. * To complete paperwork in relation to the above tasks. * Any other ad hoc duties, as required. Skills required- * Hold an Industry recognised qualification, either City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3. * Full UK Licence. * HGV Class C+E Driving Licence * Previous HGV mechanical experience. * Excellent mechanical diagnostic skills. * Good attention to details. * Excellent communication skills. * Effectively manage time and meet deadlines Salary- £42k-£43k dependant on experience Needed ASAP
