We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Private Client Solicitor to join our esteemed legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of private client matters, including wills, trusts, and estate planning. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to negotiate effectively on behalf of clients. You will be responsible for providing high-quality legal advice and support to individuals and families, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
Taylor Rose is an ambitious and successful full-service law firm, expanding our non-property teams. The success of our Private Client team is calling to further add talent to our Carter Lane office. We are happy to consider hybrid working upon completion of training and orientation. We work Monday to Friday, 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, offer 26 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, and a competitive fee earner reward scheme.
Requirements:
- Legally qualified
- Ability to use case management systems
- High standard of computer literacy
- Must be adaptable and flexible
- Must have good time management and organisational skills
- Ability to demonstrate specialist knowledge about Private Client Law.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
This role involves but is not limited to:
- Effective management of own time, ensuring that chargeable and non-chargeable hours targets are met.
- Working on files as appropriate, including drafting letters, collating evidence, and preparing cost letters.
- Dealing with new clients and liaising regarding initial enquiries.
- Managing legal documentation in strict confidence.
- Attending client meetings, taking instructions, and preparing cases.
- Conducting matters on behalf of clients in line with their instructions. Management of support services, including supervision of Paralegals and Legal Secretaries.
- Financial control with particular regard to cash flow control through collection of monies on account and billing procedures.
