Responsibilities

  • Identify, onboard, and actively manage a portfolio of Direct Introducers across the property sector — including estate agents, property managers, developers, landlords, and conveyancers.
  • Build structured, mutually beneficial referral partnerships that deliver consistent and growing pipeline flow.
  • Maintain regular contact with introducers to ensure engagement, loyalty, and referral volume.
  • Monitor introducer performance and proactively address any drops in activity.
  • Represent AIIC Group at property industry events, conferences, and networking forums to expand the DI network.

New Business Development

  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the property sector (residential, commercial, and/or investment).
  • Lead pitches, proposals, and presentations to prospective clients and introducers.
  • Manage the full BD cycle from initial contact through to conversion and handover.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed revenue, activity, and pipeline targets.

Cross-Sell & Private Client Referrals

  • Identify clients and introducer contacts with high-net-worth or complex needs suitable for referral into the Private Client department.
  • Collaborate with the Private Client team to ensure smooth handoffs and a joined-up client experience.
  • Actively recognise and act on cross-sell opportunities across all client and introducer touchpoints.
  • Work closely with operations, marketing, and Private Client teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
  • Provide regular pipeline and activity reports to the Head of New Business.
  • Contribute to BD strategy discussions and share market intelligence.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proven experience in a business development or sales role, ideally within property, insurance, financial services, or professional services.
  • An established network within the property sector.
  • Demonstrable experience building and managing Direct Introducer or referral partnerships.
  • Commercially sharp, with the ability to spot and act on cross-sell opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills — confident at all levels.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven.
  • Collaborative team player with strong cross-departmental working skills.
