Accountancy Practice Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have just been instructed on an Accounts Semi Senior or Senior opportunity on behalf of our client, a forward thinking and progressive firm in Poole, Dorset. Ideal for an AAT qualified and/or ACA/ACCA student working in practice looking for the next step up in their career.
Will be working an impressive and varied portfolio of clients, including SMEs and OMBs from an array of sectors providing accounts, tax and client advisory services. The firm has a very supportive, team culture with lots of flexibility and a great work life balance.
Excellent remuneration & benefits package, full ACA/ACCA study support (optional), paid overtime TOIL, hybrid working arrangement, lots of flexibility and a personal progression plan. Part time considered.
The Role:
- Preparation of year end financial statements under FRS102
- Corporate tax computations
- Monthly management accounts
- Tax planning/advisory work (as you progress)
- Review of VAT returns
- Training clients on accountancy software
- Dealing with client queries
- Attending client meetings
- Assisting & mentoring junior staff
You:
- AAT & or ACA / ACCA Student/PQ
- AAT Student also considered
- Practice experience is essential
- Experienced in accounts preparation under FRS102
