We are working with a leading firm of Chartered Accountants who are seeking an Accounts Portfolio Manager to join their team in Edinburgh. A perfect opportunity for an ACCA/ ACA qualified individual working in practice looking for the next step up in their career.
Managing an impressive portfolio of clients from a broad range of industry sectors involving the provision of accounts, and business/ client advisory work.
Excellent remuneration & benefits package, company & manager bonus, private medical insurance, option of WFH 3 days a week, lots of flexibility, and a personal progression plan (to Senior Manager/ Director).
The Role:
- Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
- Monitoring and review of statutory accounts
- Management reporting packs
- Identifying tax planning opportunities
- Managing WIP
- Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
- Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
- Client meetings
- Business development
