Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Accounts Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of a progressive firm of Chartered Accountants in Northampton. Perfect for an ACA/ACCA qualified individual working in practice looking for structured career progression, flexibility, and an excellent work-life balance.
Working with/assisting in managing a diverse portfolio of clients from a range of industry sectors involving the provision of accounts, tax, and ad hoc client/business advisory work. The Role:
- Assisting in managing a client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
- Preparation and review of year-end statutory accounts
- Preparation of management reporting packs
- Preparation and review of tax compliance
- Identifying tax planning opportunities
- Dealing with HMRC and other third parties
- Training junior staff and reviewing their work
- Assisting with other ad hoc advisory assignments

You:
- ACA/ACCA Qualified (ideally)
- Part Qualified/MAAT also considered
