Tax Specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have just been instructed on a fantastic R&D Tax Senior Manager opportunity on behalf of our client in Central Leeds. Working with an impressive client portfolio from an array of industry sectors, leading the delivery of R&D tax claims and providing expert advice. Managing R&D tax projects, ad hoc advisory work, preparing/reviewing the financial part of the claim, technical descriptions and assisting in business development.

Excellent remuneration & benefits package, 20% bonus, £5,000 car allowance, private medical insurance, option of WFH 3 days a week and a personal progression plan.

The Role:

  • Leading the delivery of R&D tax claims, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Preparation and review of technical documentation and project narratives for HMRC submission.
  • Managing end-to-end project delivery, including budgets, risk, billing, and client relationships.
  • Supporting clients with HMRC enquiries and ongoing R&D tax matters.
  • Client meetings, presentations, and business development activities.
  • Working collaboratively with R&D, corporate tax and audit teams.
  • Building strong internal and external relationships.

You:

  • CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (ideally).
  • Strong R&D tax technical expertise.
  • R&D tax portfolio management experience.
  • Proactive, organised, and commercially aware.
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management skills.
