Public Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment have been instructed on an Audit Senior or Assistant Manager opportunity on behalf of our client, a leading firm in Manchester. Perfect for a recently ACA/ ACCA qualified individual with experience of leading external audits looking for continued professional development and an excellent work/ life balance.

Assisting in managing an impressive portfolio of clients (OMBs, Groups with international affairs, and Listed companies) involving a mixture of audit, accounts and business advisory work. Excellent remuneration and benefits package, profit share bonus, private healthcare, option of WFH 3 days a week, lots of flexibility, and a personal progression plan (to Manager/ Senior Manager).

The Role:

  • Leading external audits from planning to completion
  • Leading teams of junior staff on site
  • Review of statutory accounts in line with UK GAAP and FRS102
  • Review of corporation tax computations
  • Managing teams of junior staff
  • Regular client meetings and dealing with queries
  • Training and developing junior members of staff
  • Providing support to the Managers/ Partners
