Accountancy Practice specialists Taylor Rose Recruitment are working with a leading firm who are seeking an Accounts Manager to join their team in Northampton. Ideal for an ACA or ACCA Qualified individual working in general practice looking for continued professional development, flexibility and an excellent work/life balance.

You will manage all aspects of your own diverse portfolio of clients from a range of sectors, involving tax/business advisory work as the role progresses. Excellent remuneration & extensive benefits package, option of WFH, private medical insurance, and personal progression ladder (to Senior Manager/Director).

The Role:

  • Managing all aspects of the client portfolio, acting as the main point of contact
  • Monitoring and review of statutory accounts
  • Preparation and review of tax compliance
  • Management reporting packs
  • Identifying tax planning opportunities
  • Mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
  • Assisting with other ad hoc assignments
  • Client meetings
  • Business development

You:

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified (ideally)
  • ACA/ACCA Part Qualified or MAAT also considered
  • Experience of managing a client portfolio (ideally)
  • Strong accounts and tax compliance experience
  • Background in accountancy practice
  • Good communication skills
