We're working with a leading international consumer business to appoint an Employment Counsel to support its UK operations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded legal team, taking ownership of a varied employment law workload while partnering closely with HR, senior leaders and stakeholders across the business.
The Opportunity
- Advise on a broad range of employment law matters, including:
- Employment policies, contracts and settlement agreements
- Employee relations and workplace investigations
- Employment Tribunal litigation
- Trade union and industrial relations issues
- Business change and restructuring projects
- Code of Conduct and compliance matters
- Strategic employment law initiatives and projects
This is a genuine business-facing role offering significant stakeholder exposure and the opportunity to influence decision-making across a large organisation.
About You
- Qualified solicitor (1-3+ pqe) with employment law experience
- Employment Tribunal experience would be advantageous
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach
- Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
- Able to work autonomously and take ownership of matters
