A private Investment company is looking to appoint a Residential Property Lawyer in London on a 6-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative organisation where you can make a valuable contribution to the successful functioning of the legal team.
Duties will include:
- Provide legal advice on day-to-day residential letting matters and landlord asset management across diverse asset classes, and on regulation and compliance in property management.
- Support high value projects/transactions in financing, development of land, and new acquisition/disposal projects.
- General reviews of leases and planning.
- Review supporting documents from grantees to external legal reviewers.
- Internal review of refurbishments and agreements.
- Pre‑ and post‑approval support on processing/local authority agreement documentation.
The role is suitable for a UK (or Commonwealth) qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE, though relevant experience will also be considered. Experience in commercial property legal work and/or residential property transactions is required, either from practising in a law firm or an in‑house legal function. Excellent time‑management skills and the ability to work in a busy environment are essential. A pragmatic, solutions‑based approach and strong relationship‑building and communication skills are also required.
