A leading US law firm with a highly regarded finance practice is seeking to hire a Structured Finance Associate (3+ PQE) on a 3-month fixed-term contract to support its busy London-based structured credit team.
You will join a globally recognised platform known for:
- Advising major investment banks, asset managers, and private equity funds on complex structured finance and securitisation transactions
- Acting on market-leading CLO structures, structured credit products and related cross-border mandates
- Innovating in the development of bespoke financing arrangements across multiple asset classes
- Delivering strategic advice on regulatory considerations and risk allocation for high-value transactions
- Seamless collaboration across finance, regulatory, tax, and global offices
This team operates at the cutting edge of structured finance, providing solutions for some of the most sophisticated players in the financial markets.
The Role
You will work on a broad range of matters including:
- Structuring and execution of CLOs and other structured credit products
- Advising arrangers, managers, and investors on securitisation transactions
- Drafting and negotiating transaction documentation for complex capital markets deals
- Coordinating with global teams to deliver on multi-jurisdictional transactions
- Supporting clients on regulatory compliance, governance, and commercial risk issues
The role offers hands-on exposure to headline transactions, working closely with senior lawyers in a high-performing team.
About You
The team is seeking candidates who:
- Are UK-qualified (or equivalent) with 3+ yearsโ PQE in structured finance or securitisation
- Have strong experience in CLO transactions and structured credit
- Trained at a leading international or City firm with a solid transactional background
- Possess excellent drafting and negotiation skills with strong attention to detail
- Are commercially minded and capable of managing complex, time-sensitive matters
Candidates with prior experience in cross-border structured finance transactions will be highly regarded.
