A leading UK media and digital content business is hiring a Senior Data Privacy Counsel based in London. This is a senior, high-impact role advising on complex data protection issues in a fast-paced, digital-first environment, including adtech, audience data, analytics and emerging AI use cases.
Responsibilities
- Advise senior stakeholders on UK/EU data protection and wider digital regulation
- Embed privacy-by-design into new products and initiatives
- Support regulatory engagement and complex complaints/investigations
- Oversee privacy governance, policies and data rights processes
- Partner closely with editorial, tech, HR and commercial teams
Required experience
- England & Wales qualified solicitor (c.10+ PQE)
- Deep data protection expertise within media, publishing or digital platforms
- Experience with adtech, analytics and AI-related privacy issues
- Confident, pragmatic adviser comfortable operating at senior and technical level
