A leading international law firm is looking for a Senior Data Privacy Manager to join its Risk & Compliance function on a 12-month fixed term contract. This is a senior, visible role where you will shape privacy and data risk strategy, lead key initiatives across the business and act as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as SME on data protection and privacy risk (GDPR and global frameworks)
  • Lead DPIAs and privacy risk assessments
  • Oversee risk registers and mitigation plans
  • Develop and enhance privacy policies and frameworks
  • Lead incident and breach management
  • Support ISO 27001 / ISMS alignment
  • Engage stakeholders and deliver training across the business
  • Support governance around AI and emerging risks
  • Lead and develop junior team members

Ideal candidate:

  • Strong experience in data privacy and risk within a professional services environment
  • Deep knowledge of GDPR and global privacy laws
  • Proven experience leading DPIAs, incident response and risk frameworks
