We are supporting an established, global re/insurance organisation who is seeking a Senior Compliance Assurance Officer to join their Group Compliance function on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment, supporting the delivery of a robust, risk-based compliance assurance framework across the business. The Senior Compliance Assurance Officer will play a key role in assessing and strengthening the effectiveness of the compliance programme, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering compliance assurance reviews in line with the annual monitoring plan
  • Assessing adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and controls
  • Managing and overseeing the firm’s mandatory compliance training programme
  • Maintaining key compliance documentation, including policies and codes of conduct
  • Producing management information and reporting for senior leadership and committees
  • Supporting senior compliance leadership with ongoing advisory and assurance activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience in compliance monitoring, assurance, or audit within the insurance or reinsurance sector
  • Strong understanding of relevant UK regulatory frameworks and core compliance concepts
