Overview
Leading professional services organisation seeks Senior Legal Counsel – Commercial Technology to join their in-house legal team. The role can be based in London or across the regions within commuting distance to London. This is a newly created position to join a supportive and dynamic team, in a strategic role to be the commercial technology lead on a range of commercial deals and support more junior members in the team of commercial lawyers.
Responsibilities
- Lead on commercial technology matters across a range of deals, including IT system implementation agreements, outsourcing/managed services agreements, and client contracts (engagement agreements, MSAs, framework agreements).
- Handle cross-functional complex tech projects, digital transformation initiatives, licensing, cloud and managed services arrangements, outsourcing, government and public sector agreements, tenders, RFP responses, and supplier agreements.
- Support more junior members of the commercial lawyers team and contribute to a collaborative, high-performing in-house function.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years PQE and proven experience as a commercial technology lawyer, from a top-tier City law firm and/or in-house.
- Ideally experience working with technology and/or professional services businesses.
