My client is a Hospitality & Leisure group who provide world class quality of service, products and experience to its customers and members. Their Head of Legal is looking to appoint a paralegal to support them in setting up and running the legal function. In this hands-on, dynamic work environment you will have great stakeholder exposure, providing a great learning environment. In this fast-paced growth environment, there will be an international element to the role and the opportunity to get involved in other areas such a company secretary work and managing your own workstreams. Responsibilities Drafting and reviewing commercial contracts including venue hire and event contracts, non-disclosure agreements, third party supplier, contractor and services contracts and appointments Company secretarial matters and the implementation of legal process and governance Creating and maintaining template documents Updating registers of members and directors and submitting relevant forms to Companies House File keeping Role requirements Minimum of 6-12 months in a broad paralegal role within a hands-on legal team Strong drafting and reviewing skills Commercial contracts, company secretarial, legal process and governance experience Experience of working in a legal role within the hospitality, leisure, FMCG, luxury retail or restaurant group sectors Hybrid working – 4 days a week in their Central London offices The role would suit someone with good initiative, who is seeking a broad, very hands-on paralegal role where they can settle into a long-term permanent role to really broaden their skillset.
