The Client: A leading Lloyds insurer are looking for a NQ-2 PQE commercial lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business. They have an excellent hybrid policy in place, only requiring office attendance once a fortnight or once a month.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
- Assist with the drafting, review and negotiation of insurance specific agreements such as binding authority agreements, TOBAs etc.
- Assist with privacy, employment and other matters as they arise.
- Provide assistance with maintaining the legal precedent bank; and assist with providing training to the business on new and ongoing legal and compliance issues.
- Provide support to the business on the onboarding of new clients.
- Work in multidisciplinary teams across various departments, including product development, marketing, and human resources, ensuring that all business activities comply with applicable laws and regulations.
