A boutique, founder-focused law firm based in Berlin is seeking a US-qualified lawyer to help build and expand its growing US practice. The firm is well established in the venture capital, startup, and technology ecosystem and is now strengthening its ability to support clients with cross-border US legal needs.

This is a rare role for someone who wants true ownership, international work, and the chance to be part of a small, collaborative, entrepreneurial team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow the firm’s US legal offering together with the existing US-qualified partner.

  • Support European companies expanding into the US.
  • Build relationships across Berlin’s startup, VC, and tech ecosystems.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • US-qualified lawyer, admitted to at least one US state bar.
  • Experience in venture capital, emerging companies, M&A, PE, or startup law.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in business development.
  • Any personal connection to Germany or prior experience with cross-border work is a plus, but not required.
  • German language skills welcome but not mandatory.
