This role sits within a highly integrated transactional tax team supporting private equity, M&A, restructuring and complex financing matters. The work is deal-driven and fast-paced, with tax lawyers involved from the outset in structuring and execution on sponsor-led transactions. Associates advise on UK and cross-border corporate tax issues arising on acquisitions, disposals, investments, reorganisations and refinancings, often working closely with corporate, debt finance and restructuring colleagues on sophisticated, multi-jurisdictional matters.
What They're Looking For
- England & Wales qualified associate with NQ-6 years' PQE.
- Experience in corporate or transactional tax, ideally in a private equity or M&A context.
- Strong technical grounding and interest in complex, deal-focused tax structuring.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving deal teams alongside corporate and finance lawyers.
- Commercial, proactive and keen to take responsibility early.
