About the role:
The Senior Director, Construction & Design will play a fundamental part in leading the endātoāend design, development, and delivery of data centre infrastructure across the UK and EMEA region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing design, engineering, construction, procurement, and vendor management, ensuring that all facilities are delivered on time, within budget, and to worldāclass standards of quality, safety, and operational performance.
The candidate must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and specifically within the wider legal team.
About you:
The successful candidate will have at least 12 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Ideally, with experience within the construction, infrastructure and property sectors. Strong experience in non-contentious construction, major infrastructure, or largeāscale industrial development. Extensive experience leading largeāscale data centre or missionācritical infrastructure design and construction programmes. In addition to significant experience in colocation contracting, vendor, facilities management, procurement, and commercial negotiation.
