The Client: An innovative financial services firm on an impressive growth trajectory are looking for a 5-9 PQE corporate lawyer to join their legal team. Working autonomously, you will be responsible for a range of legal matters across the business. This role offers line management responsibility of junior lawyers in the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients and internal stakeholders, delivering commercially focused legal solutions.
- Provide corporate advisory support on a wide range of matters, including reorganisations, and general corporate governance.
- Advise on Companies Act compliance, including statutory filings, share capital changes, and governance frameworks.
- Advise on and implement employee incentive arrangements, including share option schemes and other share plans.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including partnership agreements, supplier agreements, tech, outsourcing vendor contracts, and customer terms and conditions.
- Provide general advice on ad-hoc legal matters as they arise.
Qualifications:
- The ideal candidate will be a 5-9 PQE Corporate lawyer, preferably with experience in a law firm, or financial services/regulated environment.
- Excellent contract negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proactive, detail oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a collaborative mindset.
