A leading financial services organisation is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager on a 12-month FTC, with a strong track record in delivering Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) transactions. This role involves assisting cross-functional teams to successfully plan, execute, and integrate complex deals from due diligence through to post-merger integration. You will play a critical role in ensuring that M&A initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist end-to-end project management of M&A deals, from early-stage due diligence through to integration execution
- Manage robust project plans, timelines, governance structures, and reporting framework
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (Finance, Legal, HR, Technology, Operations) to ensure seamless deal execution
- Support senior leadership with decision-making through clear, data-driven reporting and insight
- Facilitate workshops, steering committees, and key stakeholder meetings
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing M&A transactions in a project management capacity. You will be able to manage multiple workstreams and senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, and you must have strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
