A well-established London law firm is seeking an experienced Private Client Knowledge Lawyer to join its private wealth practice. The position would suit either an existing Professional Support Lawyer or a senior private client fee-earner looking to pivot away from fee-earning.
The Opportunity
The role sits within a respected Private Client & Tax practice advising high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and family offices including clients with complex international interests. There is a strong cross-border element to the work with particular involvement in the US and the Middle East.
The Role
- Acting as a technical and knowledge resource for private client fee-earners
- Maintaining and developing precedents, practice notes and internal guidance
- Monitoring and communicating legal developments in private client and tax
- Supporting and delivering internal training
- Helping produce client-facing updates and thought leadership
- Working closely with partners on complex or novel technical issues
Candidate Profile
- Qualified private client lawyer (England & Wales or equivalent)
- Typically 5-8 PQE
- Strong technical grounding in private client work
- Suitable for:
- An established Private Client PSL, or
- A senior associate / counsel-level fee-earner seeking a knowledge-led role
