About the Role
Our client is seeking a Legal Counsel (2-4 years PQE) to join their legal team and support major data centre projects and supply chain agreements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a transactional lawyer to work on complex, high-value contracts in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate supply-chain engagement letters, NDAs, guarantees, performance bonds, warranties, and related documents.
- Support negotiation of major supply-chain master agreements (construction, design, service procurement, equipment supply).
- Review and mark-up Project Work Orders and variations/change orders.
- Advise the Design & Construction team on contract administration, including notices, extensions of time, and payment provisions.
- Assist with claims management and pre-dispute resolution.
- Support on hyperscale leases, power purchase agreements, and associated service contracts.
- Deliver legal training and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for data centre development and operation.
- Some international travel to the Dublin office and other regions as the business expands could be required.
Essential Requirements
- Qualified solicitor with 2-4 years’ PQE.
- Strong transactional experience (private practice or in-house).
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Commercial, pragmatic approach with ability to balance legal risk and business objectives.
- Ability to manage a high volume of varied work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence advising senior stakeholders.
Desirable:
- Experience with complex construction and supply-chain contracts (FIDIC preferred).
- Previous in-house experience in data centre or digital infrastructure sectors.
- Knowledge of contract administration and dispute avoidance.
- Exposure to colocation or hyperscale leasing agreements.
