We are partnering with a leading international organisation to appoint an Investigation Lead within its Ethics & Compliance function. This is a high-impact role responsible for leading complex, sensitive investigations across multiple jurisdictions. The Investigations Lead will take ownership of end-to-end internal investigations into a range of integrity and compliance matters, working closely with senior stakeholders across legal, HR, audit and business teams.

Key areas include:

  • Code of Conduct breaches
  • Anti-bribery & corruption
  • Fraud and financial misconduct
  • Competition / antitrust concerns
  • Whistleblowing and retaliation cases

Ensuring investigations are conducted independently, fairly and in line with best practice, while producing clear findings and driving appropriate outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex investigations from scoping through to resolution
  • Conduct interviews, review evidence and provide robust analysis
  • Prepare clear reports with findings, risk assessments and recommendations
  • Escalate key issues to senior leadership where appropriate
  • Support remediation actions including disciplinary processes and control improvements
  • Provide expert advice on investigation strategy and risk mitigation
  • Contribute to strengthening global investigation frameworks and processes

The successful applicant must have:

  • 5–8 years’ experience in investigations, compliance, legal, audit or similar
  • Strong track record of handling complex, sensitive cases
  • Experience in areas such as anti-corruption, competition law or whistleblowing
  • Excellent interviewing, analytical and reporting skills
  • Confident stakeholder manager with sound judgement and discretion
  • Experience in a multinational or cross-border environment preferred
