Taylor Root is delighted to be working with a well-regarded independent city firm as they look to hire a mid-level or senior associate into their disputes team to focus on international arbitration matters.
The successful candidate will join a team advising on complex cross-border disputes, including investment treaty and commercial arbitration under LCIA, ICC, and UNCITRAL rules. They will also support UK High Court litigation, working closely with colleagues across the wider disputes practice.
The role has a strong Africa focus, with exposure to matters across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, telecommunications, and construction. You will work alongside leading practitioners on cases involving sovereign states, state-owned entities, funds, and corporates, with responsibilities including strategy development, drafting, advocacy support, and client management.
