A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a Legal Counsel on a 6-month contract to join its high‑performing legal team and provide commercial legal support across the international business.

  • Providing strategic legal advice on a broad range of commercial matters across the global organisation.
  • Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial contracts, including service agreements, vendor contracts, IT agreements and lease arrangements.
  • Handling a wide variety of technology‑related agreements, such as software licences, SaaS contracts, support and maintenance agreements, data and AI‑related agreements, and third‑party service arrangements.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to develop, refine and implement policies and procedures relating to data licensing, data processing and emerging technologies.
  • Delivering ad‑hoc legal support on wider commercial issues as required.
  • Staying up to date with developments in technology, artificial intelligence and data protection law.

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ PQE (Commonwealth or equivalent) with strong experience in commercial contracts, particularly those involving suppliers, IT, data, AI and third‑party services. This role offers high‑quality work, strong exposure to senior management and the opportunity to develop within a respected global organisation.
