Our client is renowned for its innovation and excellence within the critical infrastructure sector. With a market leading reputation, it is leading the way in developing high performance infrastructure for AI start-up and enterprise customers. They are seeking an Employment lawyer to join their legal team.

The Director, Employment & Global Mobility will play a crucial role in providing legal guidance and expertise on labour and employment matters across our global operations with a focus on EMEA. This position offers an opportunity to shape and influence their labour and employment strategies while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

The candidate must bring a proactive, business and solution-oriented mindset to legal matters and a proven ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and specifically within the wider legal team.

The successful candidate will have at least 8 PQE, having trained in a top UK law firm. Ideally, with in-house experience within the technology/infrastructure sectors. Solid track record in international employment law (with an emphasis in the EU), management of external advisors as well the ability to take the lead in coordinating group-wide employment law projects. Experience of transformation, reorganisation and related employment activities in a global and multinational company. You will have a track record of acting as a strategic business advisor who possesses the leadership skills to successfully operate in a highly visible role and within a newly formed and fast-moving organisation.

This role would suit someone who is commercially astute and who thrives in a fast paced, complex, and rapidly changing environment. The company is expanding, and this is an excellent role for someone looking to take on the challenge and opportunity of working with senior stakeholders.
