Key Responsibilities
- Advising UK‑domiciled and non‑domiciled individuals, families, and trustees on UK and international tax issues, including residence, domicile, and structuring for globally mobile clients.
- Assisting with the creation, administration, and restructuring of offshore and onshore trusts, family governance frameworks, and asset‑holding structures.
- Providing strategic tax planning advice relating to pre‑arrival planning, remittance, succession planning, and multi‑jurisdictional wealth preservation.
- Supporting clients with cross‑border estate planning, including the preparation of wills, lasting powers of attorney, and related documentation.
- Advising on the UK tax implications of international investments, corporate or real estate structures, and family office arrangements.
- Liaising with overseas counsel and tax advisers on complex, multi‑jurisdictional matters.
- Conducting legal research, drafting technical advice, and preparing client‑ready memoranda and reports.
- Building strong client relationships and supporting partners with business development initiatives targeting UHNW/HNW individuals, families, and international intermediaries.
About You
- Qualified solicitor (NQ-4 PQE) with experience in private client, tax, or international wealth structuring from a reputable firm.
- Some exposure to international tax planning - including residence, domicile, and offshore structures - is highly desirable.
- Strong technical abilities with excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- A confident communicator capable of explaining complex concepts clearly to clients and intermediaries.
