A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a 2–5 PQE Asset Finance Associate to join the London office of a leading global law firm renowned for its strength in asset finance and transport, advising on some of the most significant aviation transactions worldwide. The role sits within a well-established Asset Finance team with a particular focus on aviation finance. The practice covers the full spectrum of aircraft financing and leasing transactions, acting for lessors, airlines, banks, funds, and manufacturers. The team also works closely with its shipping finance colleagues, and candidates with an interest in (or experience of) a mixed aviation and shipping practice would be particularly well suited.

Associates are encouraged to take on early responsibility, working directly with partners and clients on complex, multi-jurisdictional matters in a supportive and technically excellent environment.

Key Requirements:
  • UK-qualified lawyer with 2–5 years' post-qualification experience
  • Solid experience in aviation finance (leasing and/or financing)
  • Exposure to asset or structured finance at a reputable international firm
  • Interest in or openness to developing a broader transport finance practice, including shipping
  • Strong drafting skills and a commercial, solutions-focused mindset
