An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2–3 PQE Antitrust Associate to join a market-leading, Magic Circle law firm in London, renowned for advising on complex, multi-jurisdictional merger control and regulatory matters.
The team works on high-profile transactions across sectors such as TMT, life sciences, and financial services, advising on Phase I and Phase II reviews, remedies design, and foreign investment issues. Clients include major global corporates and private equity sponsors.
This role offers the chance to work in a collaborative environment where associates gain significant responsibility early on, working closely with partners on strategic, cross-border deals. The work is varied and intellectually challenging – from merger filings to advising on regulatory risk in transformative transactions.
Key Requirements:- UK-qualified lawyer with 2–3 years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong academic background
- Solid grounding in antitrust/competition law, ideally with exposure to merger control and CMA/EC filings
- Experience at a leading international or US law firm preferred
- Commercially astute, proactive, and eager to develop within a top-tier team
- High level of partner access and mentorship
