My client is a sports betting, gaming and interactive entertainment company.
They are seeking to setup a new Legal Operations function and appoint their first hire, a Legal Operations Manager.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious individual to review ways of working and identify areas of improvement before designing and implementing ways to improve efficiency. You will be given good autonomy and there is room to grow within the business.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Auditing and information gathering
- Raising awareness of the legal function and building rapport with internal stakeholders
- Introducing a ticketing system
- Looking at processes and improving efficiency
- Implementing new legal technology, if appropriate
- Looking at ways to improve onboarding
The role will suit someone fairly independent and willing to jump in at the deep end!
This person could be someone with Legal Operations experience already, or it could be a great launchpad for someone with operational or project management experience looking to get into Legal Operations.
