Our client is a leading global operator of premium schools, headquartered in Central London.

We are looking for a stellar M&A lawyer to join the high-calibre legal team, to support the growth of the group.

The role

You will provide comprehensive legal support for all aspects of M&A transactions throughout the whole deal lifecycle, including drafting and reviewing transaction documents, conducting due diligence, assessing legal risks, record keeping, as well as ensuring internal policies and procedures are followed.

Working alongside the Head of Corporate & Commercial and Senior Legal Counsel M&A, you will work closely with internal stakeholders, as well as assisting with the management of relationships with external lawyers and other advisors.

About you

The successful candidate will be a lawyer qualified in the UK or other common law jurisdiction, with at least 2-3 years PQE.

You will have trained in an international law firm with experience in cross border M&A transactions through the full lifecycle of the deal.

We are looking for an entrepreneurial candidate who can think strategically, with a high level of drafting skills, excellent communication and diplomacy skills and ability to work under pressure and in accordance with tight deadlines. You will have excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to work autonomously and as part of a team.
