A leading national defendant firm is seeking a Solicitor (PQE 1-5) to join its established Defendant Personal Injury team, with opportunities available in either Birmingham or Leeds. The practice is well recognised for its work across the healthcare and insurance sectors, advising a strong portfolio of public sector and private clients on high‑quality EL/PL matters. This role offers exposure to a broad mix of pre‑litigation and litigated work within a reputable and growing team.
Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of Fast Track and lower‑value Multi Track EL/PL claims.
- Assist senior colleagues on more complex and higher‑value matters.
- Assess liability, causation and damages; solid experience in these areas is essential.
- Exposure to human rights or data‑breach claims would be advantageous.
- Demonstrate strong case management skills and experience within defendant, insurer‑side, or mixed PI practices.
